JOHANNESBURG – The Mpumalanga province has won the 2024 Youth-4-Safer-SA Debate Championship.
The competition saw eight provinces go head-to-head, raising points and arguments on a provided topic.

The topic was “The Government of National Unity: Re-imagining the Future of South Africa,”
With only 22 percent of South African 10-year-olds able to read for meaning, we ask if such initiatives can assist in promoting literacy in schools.
